MCT Tag it Tuesday

Good Morning and welcome to
Tag it Tuesday w/My Creative Time!
Today the DT will be sharing tag projects using of course My Creative Time stamps and dies!

I have to admit that I am not much of a flower girl....BUT I am LOVING the new Jr. Rolled Flower Dies that Emma just released and I couldn't wait to use them again, this time for my tag! So for today's tag, I used the larger one as the focal point of my CAS tag and paired it with the simple sentiment from the newly released Love YOU Bunches stamp and die set!
I went with a vintage feel for my tag, adding some inking to the edges of my flower and leaves as well as using the Scripty background over top of my designer paper.
Isn't this flower beautiful??I ended up adding 2 layers of leaves to the underside of the flower as well as curling the flower leaves to "fill"out the flower. I hot glued the flower and leaves to the top layer of my tag after wrapping some natural colored hemp twine several times around the tag. Finally I stamped my sentiment onto the tag and added some finishing touches in the form of some gold enamel dots, more help twine and some beautiful cream colored ribbon to the tag top.

MCT Inspiration Wednesday~ EASTER Shaker Card

Good Morning and Happy Hump day everyone!
It's time for another
My Creative Time Inspiration Wednesday.
If you are new to my blog or to what Inspiration Wednesday is all about, it is
where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.
My inspiration comes from a the recent Stretch Your Dies online class I took. I have not had much time to try out the new techniques that I have learned BUT I have watched all the videos and plan on using some of these techniques in upcoming projects :)
Anyways Jennifer McGuire made a beautiful CELEBRATE shaker card using alphabet dies so I thought I would use her tips and tricks to make an EASTER card.
I used the Uppercase Fun Dies to cut make the shaker windows and I filled each section with some pale green (hard to see in the picture) and pink sequins, silver stars and some pink seed beads.
Before filling the shaker part, I did stamp my sentiment. I used the one from the stamp set~To My Best Peep and masked off parts of the sentiment so I could add the sentiments above and below the shaker. I also wanted to keep with the Easter/Spring colors so I used the paint slatters to add some extra color to the otherwise plain card front.

Additional Products Used:
Ranger Dye Ink~Electric Lime and Pink Gumball

sequins, seed beads
craft foam, foam adhesive tape

So what do you think????? Want to see more projects?
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT hump day!!!

For my project today, I get to showcase the new Circle Stitching Pattern Die!
To make my card, I used the Circle Stitching Pattern Die to make a pattern onto my designer paper. Then using 2 different size circles from the Bunch of Fun Circle Die set, I die cut them in matching designer paper and cardstock. I then randomly placed them over the pattern on my background. Using some matching orange cardstock, I die cut the word "thanks" using the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and then colored the letters with my Wink of Stella clear pen to add some sparkle :) For the stamped sentiment, I used the new release set~ Tweet Me and did a partial stamp with the "sending many thanks!"sentiment so I could use the die cut "thanks" instead. Some random enamel dots and my card was complete.

MCT 41st New Release Sneak Day 4

Good Morning and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 41st New Release!
This has been such an awesome week of projects but we still have one more day of sneaks before the big reveal and blog hop tomorrow!!!!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new sets~
Tweet Me
 Fun Tweet Me Dies
AND
Every Little Thing
For my card I used 2 of the sets~ Fun Tweet Me Dies and Tweet Me stamp set to make this adorable little shaker card. I kept my card CAS to really showcase the new heart wavy die and the great sentiment! To make my card, I die cut 2 pieces of cardstock for my base, a white piece and a black piece using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. Then using the new heart die from the Fun Tweet Me Die set, I die cut it through both the black and white cardstock, making sure to keep the hearts from the center to use later. Since I wanted to turn the heart into a little shaker, I added a piece of acetate and adhered the die cut pieces to the top of it. Before adding my sequins to the inside, I used my MISTI to line up, curve and position my sentiment to follow the line of the die cut red piece of cardstock. Then flipping over my card mat and adding the sequins and foam I added the whole piece to my kraft cardbase.
Remembering the cut out hearts I placed aside, I popped those up onto the front of my card as well as added some extra sequins for some more embellishing.

AFTER the 150 shoppers come through, then you will see this set available for PURCHASE along w/the new release items! Just keep in mind, this stamp will not be included w/the bundle! It will be sold separately!
For this card I started it the same way as I do most of my cards, die cutting the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame out of MME Designer paper. Then using the Just Tags Die, I cut one in matching grey cardstock and the other in vellum. I heat embossed the sentiment and off centered it in front of the bottom tag onto my card mat.  Using some May Arts silver ribbon for the bow I hot glued it onto the tag. Some random enamel dots and my card was completed.

MCT 41st New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 41st New Release!
You are in for another treat with today's sneaks!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Love You Bunches & Jr. Rolled Flower Dies
I have to admit I am not one to add flowers to my cards BUT I just LOVE playing with Miss Emma's Rolled Flower Dies and I am pretty impressed with myself on how my card turned out :)
To make my card, I wanted to keep the focal point on the new Jr. Rolled Flowers so I picked out some designer paper from My Minds Eye to use as my card mat. I die cut it using the lg Stitched Rectangular Frame and then added a banner flag using the Tag Die Layer. Next I die cut 2 circles, stamping my sentiment onto the smaller one from the sneaky peek set~ Love you Bunches. I added those to the front of my card, offsetting the smaller circle a bit to leave room for my flowers.
Putting my card mat aside for a bit, I die cut 3 of new flowers~ 2 of the smallest ones and 1 of the next size.  I rolled one of the small ones tighter than the next one and then let the largest one be a bit bigger. I wanted a graduating look with the roses. I used my hot glue gun to hold the roses together and then glued them onto the card mat~ again with my hot glue gun. I wanted to add some extra sparkle to the plain cardstock flowers, so using my Yellow Wink of Stella pen, I colored all the petals. Boy does it give a gorgeous sparkle. Finally my roses needed some leaves so I used the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies for the greenery. Some random black and gold enamel dots and my pretty card was all done :)

MCT 41st New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 41st New Release!
So what did you think of yesterday's new die and all the amazing projects the DT shared? Pretty AWESOME right!!!! Well we have more today!!!!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Fun Stitched Tag Dies
I had rainbows on the brain when I designed this card. The weather is getting warmer and I thought this would be a fun card to send to a friend after such a LONG winter we have had! I LOVE how this banner die cuts both the inside and the outside of a flag so I went with that and grabbed some colored cardstock from my stash to add as the center of each of the banner flags. I alternated added them to the underside of the black cardstock as well as placing them on top of the cardstock panel. After the banners were all die cut and attached to the black panel, I added it to the large Stitched Rectangular Frame Die cut in white. I wanted a simple sentiment, so I stamped the Hello from the Tab Notes stamp set and then popped the whole card mat up on some craft foam. I thought the card was missing something so I pulled out my sequins and added one of each color to coordinate with the banners.

MCT 41st New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning and welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 41st New Release!
Miss Emma has another AMAZING new release and the DT can not wait to share all of our projects with you! We all know you are going to LOVE everything in this release.
So sit back and get ready for a GREAT week of inspiration followed by our blog hop on Friday when we will show you all the entire new release and it will be available for purchase!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Circle Stitched Pattern Die
Since St. Patty's day is tomorrow I thought I would make a CAS card for today's project. I used the new Circle Stitching Pattern Dies as a border and then die cut the adorable shamrock to pop up as my "pop of color" Before adhering it to my card front, I did stamp my sentiment and then pulled out some gold thread to add behind the shamrock. Then I popped it up onto the card front using some fun foam. I thought it still needed something more so I randomly placed some matching green and gold sequins on. The whole card front was then popped up onto the kraft card base using more fun foam.

Somebunny Special.....{Trendy Twine DT}

Good Morning everyone!
I am up on the Trendy Twine Blog today with some fun Easter Treats!

Easter is just around the corner and I have a fun, easy project to share using the Featured Products of the month from Trendy Twine~
Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine and the Small Candy Sacks.
How fun and adorable are these? I ended up making an insert to place inside of the Small Candy Sack. That way I could stamp my sentiment on the front panel of the insert.
To make the insert I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock at 6 1/2" x 2". Then added a strip of designer paper, cut at 1 3/4" x 12" to attach to the white cardstock. I started wrapping the designer paper at the top of one end and adhered it all the way around to the back. It does not cover the whole piece of white cardstock....BUT that is ok, because the back side of the panel where the sentiment is will not be seen :)
Then I took the covered cardstock and scored it at 1" and 2 1/2". Stamp your sentiment on the front panel and then this whole piece just drops into the Small Candy Sack perfectly!
For my sentiment I used the stamp set Color Me Happy from My Creative Time!
(it is currently on the retired list so if you are thinking about this set, make sure to grab it before it is GONE)
To close up the Small Candy Sack, there are several different ways you can do it. I am showing 2 different ways here using the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine. For this one, I folded over the top of the bag and attached a mini clothes pin. Taking some Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine I threaded it through the middle of the mini clothes pin and then tied it in a bow.
For this package, I again folded over the top of the Small Candy Sack and punched 2 holes through the top. I threaded the Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine through the holes and then tied a simple bow.
Fill these with your favorite Easter Candy and you can make some ADORABLE and quick Easter basket fillers! Of course I had to fill mine with some Bunny Peeps...a favorite treat in my house :) Some filler grass and my projects were all ready for the boys Easter basket!

Here are the products I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

MCT Made In Minutes.....Shamrock Kisses

Good Morning everyone!!!
It is time for another
My Creative Time's~ Made In Minutes!
The MCT DT will be sharing quick and easy projects using MCT stamps and dies that you can recreate in no time!

For my project today, I wanted to use the AWESOME new Milk Carton Die and make a fun St. Patty's day treat. Hope you like it!
This Milk Carton Die is a MUST have!! I am so super excited Emma has released this and let me tell you it makes putting together treats super easy. I made this Milk Carton in under 15 minutes~from start to finish! So to make it, I used a piece of designer paper from Authentique and die cut the Milk Carton. Then using the Shamrock die from the You're My Pot of Gold set I die cut it into the center of the Milk Carton. Next I  added a piece of acetate to the inside of the milk carton so my "Shamrock Kisses" didnt fall out :)

Once the Milk Carton was all put together, I punched 2 holes in the top to thread my white twine through. For the tag, I used the matching designer paper and die cut the Mini Chalkboard Tag. I stamped my sentiment using the I Believe in Leprechauns set and thought the tag needed something else. I used the special Die of the Month set for those adorable hearts! Die cutting 2 of the Stitched Heart Layering Dies in white cardstock, I went ahead and colored them using my copic markers. For some added sparkle and shine, I then colored over the hearts with my Wink of Stella clear pen. Added the tag to the twine and tied it all in a bow and my project was complete!

My Creative Time Products Used:
Stitched Heart Layering Dies (Currently on sale all this month!)

Additional Products Used:
Authentique Lucky Collection~Lucky Four
Hersey Kisses
Wink of Stella Clear
hole punch

So what do you think????? Want to see more projects?
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!
